We hypothesize that discrimination often stems from inaccurate or incomplete understandings of who migrants are. How do migrant characteristics influence the attitudes of native-born individuals in schools, workplaces, and health settings? To what extent are public perceptions of migrants accurate? Do migrants face discrimination in labor markets and educational systems? Is there media bias in the portrayal of migrant populations?
