Javier Wilenmann is professor in the Law Faculty at University Adolfo Ibáñez, and Director of the Research Centre in Law and Society (CIDS). He is a lawyer from Universidad de Chile, with a PhD from the University of Freiburg (Germany) and a Masters in Data Science from University Adolfo Ibáñez.
His research agenda focuses on the penal system, both in the empirical investigation of its operating dynamics and the results it produces, and in normative analysis (dogmatics).
