Andrea Alvarado is an Assistant Professor at Universidad de Tarapacá. She obtained her PhD in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Quantitative Methods from Columbia University. She holds a BA in Sociology from Universidad de Chile. Her research centers on childhood, education, and migration, using mixed methods and participatory approaches.
