Our principal investigator, Alejandra Abufhele, wrote an opinion piece for La Segunda, in which she highlights the demographic contribution of migrants – in particular, children and adolescents – in a context of rapid population ageing and low birth rates. Despite this, public policy has not given it a proper place, most of the time disregarding this reality, she argues.
