Our Alternate director, Andrea Alvarado, participated in a Regional Seminar, organized by the Children’s Ombudsman. The Seminar discussed inclusion, participation and the right to education, focusing on the construction of educational communities with children and adolescents.
In this instance, professor Alvarado shared the conclusions of a study carried out with Antonia Mardones, principal investigator of our Nucleus, on migrant childhood in the region of Arica.
Andrea Alvarado highlighted that this Seminar was an opportunity to share the conclusions of their study to an audience mainly composed of students, teachers and school directors. In this manner, we deepen our mission to offer our research to educational communities, so it may be functional to improving the evidence with which public policies are implemented.
