Our researcher, Alejandra Abufhele, who is also a professor at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, was interviewed for La Tercera, where she explains part of the study “Community Violence and Early Childhood Language Development: The Moderating Role of Maternal Efficacy and Satisfaction,” which explores the impact of violence on children’s language development.
— “[…] children living in a municipality where a homicide occurred just before the test scored lower than children from the same municipality who were exposed to the event after being assessed,” explains Alejandra Abufhele to La Tercera, author of the study.
