The talk given by Dr. Andrea Alvarado Urbina, the principal investigator of the Milenio MIGRA Nucleus, at the Academic Talks Cycle of the Doctorate in Education at the University of Tarapacá, focused on “Youth in Transition: Experiences of Aymara Students Transitioning from Rural Primary Schools to Urban High Schools in Arica, Chile.” During the presentation, Dr. Alvarado shared findings and reflections on the experiences of Aymara students in this educational transition process, highlighting the challenges and opportunities they face in adapting to urban educational environments.
